Cold/Flu Remedies that might work great for you

My favorite homeopathic to use as soon as you feel off/ill: OSCILLOCOCCINUM: Oscillococcinum is a homeopathic remedy made of extracts of wild duck heart and liver, which consists of a 1% solution that has been serially diluted 200 times with water and alcohol. Best way to use this is one vile, directly under your tongue, three times a day, away from food and drink. Use for 2 days.

Stay Hydrated: Water, Juice, Clear Broth or warm water with Lemon or Lime along with RAW Honey (honey especially from the area that you live); Please AVOID: alcohol; coffee and all caffeinated sodas, they can actually dehydrate your body.

Rest: We all need rest in order to heal.

Sore Throats: Gargle with saltwater 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of salt dissolved in an 8 ounce glass of warm water.

Relieve pain: I have so many mixed feelings about Tylenol; Advil; Motrin; Aspirin. I like to use enzymes, taking them between food, helps our bodies reduce all inflammation. Try and reduce the amount of the above-listed products as much as possible. They truly affect your liver, and not in a good way.

Vitamin C: This does help reduce the time that you will feel symptoms.

Zinc: Helps reduce the amount of time that you will feel symptoms.

Echinacea: Helps a lot in the prevention and shortens time of cold and flu.

Astragalus Root: Helps support immune health, also known to shorten time of cold and flu.

Elderberry (Sambucus Nigra): Helps support immune health
