Cold/Flu Remedies that might work great for you

My favorite homeopathic to use as soon as you feel off/ill: OSCILLOCOCCINUM: Oscillococcinum is a homeopathic remedy made of extracts of wild duck heart and liver, which consists of a 1% solution that has been serially diluted 200 times with water and alcohol. Best way to use this is one vile, directly under your tongue, three times a day, away from food and drink. Use for 2 days.

Stay Hydrated: Water, Juice, Clear Broth or warm water with Lemon or Lime along with RAW Honey (honey especially from the area that you live); Please AVOID: alcohol; coffee and all caffeinated sodas, they can actually dehydrate your body.

Rest: We all need rest in order to heal.

Sore Throats: Gargle with saltwater 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of salt dissolved in an 8 ounce glass of warm water.

Relieve pain: I have so many mixed feelings about Tylenol; Advil; Motrin; Aspirin. I like to use enzymes, taking them between food, helps our bodies reduce all inflammation. Try and reduce the amount of the above-listed products as much as possible. They truly affect your liver, and not in a good way.

Vitamin C: This does help reduce the time that you will feel symptoms.

Zinc: Helps reduce the amount of time that you will feel symptoms.

Echinacea: Helps a lot in the prevention and shortens time of cold and flu.

Astragalus Root: Helps support immune health, also known to shorten time of cold and flu.

Elderberry (Sambucus Nigra): Helps support immune health

Talk to a professional on how much to use, each person is uniquely different in weight, age, and health.

Chronic disease

In my opinion there is truly no real effective drug or even natural product as effective against chronic disease as getting appropriate sunlight, cutting out all sugars, getting off of seed oils and stopping the consumption of refined carbs. What really helps is walking each day over 45 minutes, start a resistance training program and drinking good, clean water.

Also, getting outside in the sunlight will actually help your body release melatonin and that will help you sleep better at night.

What sets off an Asthma Attack???

If you or anyone you know has Asthma, all kinds of things can set off an attack. Here are some well known culprits:

POLLEN; DUST; MOLD; MILDEW; FOOD ALLERGIES; DRUGS (Aspirin and Beta-Blockers); ROOM DEODORIZERS!!!!

Other culprits to consider: Household cleaners; Animal Dander; Tobacco smoke; Fresh Paint; Food Additives; Food Dyes; Preservatives; MSG and Vegetable gums.

My suggestion is to become a good detective, keep notes regarding what seems to set off the attacks. Keeping these logs becomes very helpful at eliminating culprits.

Also, if you have precious pets, please be very careful when cleaning the floors with toxic cleaners, or using deodorizers. . Use only all natural products in your house.

Asparagus: Protects against Cancer, builds healthy capillaries, builds red blood cells, stimulates Kidney and Liver function, and is a potent diuretic.

Green Beans: Helps fight gout and rheumatism, increases urinary output and does seem to energize the body. Also, this is a real helpful vegetable for the Liver and Pancreas function. Great source of fiber.
